Binnen Ivanca’s werk beslaat upcycle een groot thema. De werken ontstaan vanuit hergebruik en toevoegingen aan bestaande kledingstukken.
In het kledingstuk zijn ringen aangebracht waar je je eigen identiteit en keuzes aan kunt ophangen. De donkere tinten binnen haar werk beslaan emo, punk en new age Goth, maar ook de representatie voor ‘people of colour’.
Een drijfveer wie Ivanca inspireert om met haar werken iets na te laten of toe te voegen binnen de muziek wie ze luistert en de community die daar bij hoort. ‘This one is for us.’

Upcycle is a major theme within Ivanca’s work.
The works arise from reuse and additions to existing garments. The garment has rings on which you can hang on your own identity and preferences. The dark tones within her work cover emo, punk and new age Goth, but also the representation of people of colour.
A driving force that inspires Ivanca to leave a legacy or add something with her works within the music she listens to and the community that belongs to it. ‘This one is for us.’
